What's Cooking, Good Looking?

Crock Pot Hash brown Casserole

So again, I forgot to take a picture of this recipe when it was finished. Normally the end of the day is the busiest for me, so I usually forget about it when I'm waiting on the hubs to get home and eat. Either way, here is the recipe.

What You Will Need for This Recipe:

• 32 oz bag of hash browns
• (Optional) You can add chicken or beef chunks, I didn't but I wish I would have
• 8 oz sour cream
• 6 tbsp melted butter
• 10 3/4 oz can of Nacho Cheese Soup
• 10 3/4 oz can of Cream of Celery Soup
• 1 chopped onion

Dishes Used in the Process: 4
Knife, cutting board, bowl, crock pot

Step One: Melt Your Butter and Chop Your Onion
I put these two together as one step because all you have to do is pop the bowl into the microwave for however many seconds (as I don't have a microwave, I actually had to use the stove to melt my butter, otherwise I'd tell you how many seconds exactly.) And while your butter is melting, you can begin chopping your onion.

Step Two: Add all your ingredients into the crock pot and stir.
It doesn't look or smell too appetizing at this point, but let me tell you once it gets going it will have you going in to peek and take a whiff every half hour!

Step Three: Let cook on low for 5-6 hours
And you have yourself a delicious meal my friend! Serve with mashed potatoes or some sort of vegetable, or eat it in the morning with breakfast!
